I've never played the first Left 4 Dead and i'll have to get around to it, but I'm really liking this so far. I especially like stocking up on health packs and cool weapons in the safe room below:

Left 4 Dead 2
I recently started playing Left 4 Dead 2. It's a 4 player game where you go around killing various zombies with your friends. I've got to say, it can be actually pretty hard. They have special zombies which are more powerful than other zombies and can knock you down in one hit. For instance, there's the charger who, as his name says, charges at you and takes you down. When you're down, you can't defend yourself and a teammate has to shoot them off or kill them. There's also the smoker who is a tall zombie that uses his tongue to grab you from far away and pull you in to him when you least expect it. I think besides the witch - a zombie you rarely see really - the worst one to have to kill is the jockey. He's a very small zombie who runs and leaps at you from far away and rides around on your head, thus the name "jockey."

I agree the jockey is probably the worst out of all of them. Mainly because it is just so obnoxiously small and jumpy.
ReplyDeleteThere is a quick and simple way to kill a witch as well, if you know what you're doing. When it is crying if you approach it and wait, you have to let it raise to a certain hight and cap it in the head. It requires practice, but a friend of mine does this every time we play.
And assuming you have Left 4 Dead 2 for the pc, I think there are downloads to play the original Left 4 Dead through that game. I am not completely sure of this though because I do not have the game on pc.
