Here's a little update on my life that's pretty exciting.
Every gaming teenager's dream job is to get a job at gamestop while they're still in high school and college. About a month ago, I took an interview at a local gamestop that my friend worked at and turns out I know the manager too. He told me that he couldn't hire me just yet because there was going to be a job fair on March 14th and he had to give everyone an equal chance. I went to the job fair and did 2 more interviews, one with a normal manager and another with the district manager. I interview well, but the district manager was very strict (i don't know what other word to describe him) and it made me nervous that I wasn't going to get the job. I was told I'd hear back in 48 hours. On the 2nd day, I was at another gamestop that I also know the manager to and he was telling me that I'd probably get a phone call the following day because they're still deciding where to put me. Apparently the managers were fighting over which one could have me at their location (woo!). So needless to say, I got a phone call yesterday and I've got the job at gamestop. Now I'm going to learn even more about games and be able to have stronger opinions on them.
Congrats on the job!!! I've only ever experienced really nice and helpful people at Gamestop, I bet it will be a fun place to work, especially since you know so much about so many different games.
