Realm of the Mad God

I just started playing a free game on steam this week called Realm of the Mad God. I haven't spent way too much time on it because I keep dying and you have to completely start over every time you die. There's some things I like about the game and some things that will probably make me grow bored of it quickly.
Home Screen
The Pros: The game is an indie game and the design of it is very fun and grabs attention. The design being done all in pixels and with a pixel character reminds you of zelda or something, keeping you playing it. There are multiple classes to be, but with each one you have specific weapons you're allowed to use and you have to unlock them by leveling up on your current character. When you're in "trains" or in a group of people in the wilderness, you all get XP (experience) for when anyone kills an enemy. This allows you to gain a lot of experience quick, while making friends.

The Cons: Once you die, you have to completely start over with a new character and start from level 1. You cannot add friends on it. In the options, there is no way to find out the commands for private messaging your steam friends if they have accounts. Since I can't figure out how to communicate to my friends through the game interface, I have to constantly open a different window to instant message them. This is very inconvenient when you have no way of pausing the game.

Classes

I think that this game is fun and addicting for the first day or two that you play it but because it's not consistant with communication and the fact that you have to start all over once you die, I feel like most people will be drawn away from playing this game.
